Terms of Service

Your agreement with The Praxels when you use SystemCraft and our other products.

These Terms of Service ("Terms") govern your access to and use of the products and services provided by The Praxels ("we", "us", or "our"), including SystemCraft on Android, iOS, and web (collectively, the "Service"). By accessing or using the Service, you agree to be bound by these Terms. If you do not agree, do not use the Service.

1. Acceptance of Terms

By creating an account or using the Service, you confirm that you are at least 18 years of age and have the legal capacity to enter into a binding agreement. If you are using the Service on behalf of an organisation, you represent that you have the authority to bind that organisation to these Terms.

2. Account Registration

You may sign in using Google OAuth. You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your account and for all activity that occurs under your account. Notify us immediately at thepraxels@gmail.com if you suspect unauthorised use of your account.

3. Subscriptions and Billing

The Service offers the following tiers:

  • Free tier: Access to Snack articles and basic progress tracking, at no cost.
  • Premium Monthly: Full access to all content, AI recall quizzes, and premium features, billed monthly.
  • Premium Annual: Same as Premium Monthly, billed annually at a reduced rate.

Subscriptions are managed and billed through Google Play (Android), the Apple App Store (iOS), or Razorpay (web). Prices are displayed in the respective platform's storefront or on our website at the time of purchase. Prices may change; we will provide reasonable notice before any price change takes effect.

Subscriptions renew automatically at the end of each billing period unless you cancel before the renewal date. You may cancel at any time through the platform through which you subscribed (Google Play, App Store, or Razorpay account portal). Cancellation takes effect at the end of your current billing period; you retain access to premium features until that date.

4. Refund Policy

We do not offer refunds for subscription payments, except as required by applicable platform policies or law:

  • Google Play: Refunds for in-app purchases on Android are subject to Google Play's refund policy. You may request a refund from Google directly.
  • Apple App Store: Refunds on iOS are subject to Apple's refund policy. You may request a refund from Apple directly.
  • Razorpay (web): Refund requests for web purchases may be submitted to thepraxels@gmail.com and will be evaluated on a case-by-case basis.

Refunds will not be granted for partial billing periods or for unused access during an active subscription period, except where required by applicable consumer protection laws.

5. Acceptable Use

You agree not to:

  • Use the Service for any illegal purpose or in violation of any applicable law or regulation.
  • Scrape, copy, reproduce, or redistribute content from the Service without our written permission.
  • Attempt to reverse-engineer, decompile, or otherwise extract the source code of our applications.
  • Use automated tools (bots, scrapers) to access the Service or its API.
  • Share your account credentials with others or allow others to access the Service using your account.
  • Attempt to circumvent subscription restrictions or access premium content without a valid subscription.
  • Interfere with or disrupt the integrity or performance of the Service or its infrastructure.
  • Upload, transmit, or distribute any content that is unlawful, harmful, or infringes third-party rights.

6. Intellectual Property

All content in the Service — including but not limited to articles, quiz questions, AI-generated responses, UI designs, brand assets, logos, and software — is owned by or licensed to The Praxels and is protected by copyright and other intellectual property laws.

We grant you a limited, non-exclusive, non-transferable, revocable licence to access and use the Service for your personal, non-commercial educational purposes only. You may not reproduce, distribute, modify, or create derivative works of any Service content without our prior written consent.

"The Praxels", "SystemCraft", "DSA Craft", "LLD Craft", and associated logos are trademarks of The Praxels. You may not use these marks without our prior written permission.

7. AI-Generated Content

Quiz questions and feedback in the Service are generated by AI (Anthropic's Claude). While we design the prompting and review the system, AI-generated content may occasionally be inaccurate, incomplete, or inconsistent. You should use your own judgment when evaluating AI-generated feedback and not rely solely on it for consequential decisions.

8. Disclaimer of Warranties

THE SERVICE IS PROVIDED "AS IS" AND "AS AVAILABLE" WITHOUT WARRANTIES OF ANY KIND, EXPRESS OR IMPLIED, INCLUDING WARRANTIES OF MERCHANTABILITY, FITNESS FOR A PARTICULAR PURPOSE, OR NON-INFRINGEMENT. We do not warrant that the Service will be uninterrupted, error-free, or free of viruses or other harmful components.

9. Limitation of Liability

TO THE MAXIMUM EXTENT PERMITTED BY APPLICABLE LAW, THE PRAXELS SHALL NOT BE LIABLE FOR ANY INDIRECT, INCIDENTAL, SPECIAL, CONSEQUENTIAL, OR PUNITIVE DAMAGES, INCLUDING LOSS OF PROFITS, DATA, OR GOODWILL, ARISING FROM OR IN CONNECTION WITH YOUR USE OF (OR INABILITY TO USE) THE SERVICE, EVEN IF WE HAVE BEEN ADVISED OF THE POSSIBILITY OF SUCH DAMAGES.

OUR TOTAL CUMULATIVE LIABILITY TO YOU FOR ANY CLAIMS ARISING FROM THESE TERMS OR THE SERVICE SHALL NOT EXCEED THE AMOUNT YOU PAID TO US IN THE 12 MONTHS PRECEDING THE CLAIM, OR INR 500, WHICHEVER IS GREATER.

10. Indemnification

You agree to indemnify, defend, and hold harmless The Praxels and its officers, employees, and agents from and against any claims, liabilities, damages, losses, and expenses (including reasonable legal fees) arising from: (a) your use of the Service; (b) your violation of these Terms; or (c) your violation of any third-party rights.

11. Modifications to the Service

We reserve the right to modify, suspend, or discontinue any part of the Service at any time, with or without notice. We will not be liable to you or any third party for any modification, suspension, or discontinuation of the Service.

12. Changes to These Terms

We may update these Terms from time to time. We will notify you of material changes by updating the "Last updated" date and, where appropriate, through an in-app notification or email. Your continued use of the Service after a change constitutes acceptance of the updated Terms.

13. Termination

We may suspend or terminate your access to the Service at any time if you violate these Terms or if we are required to do so by law. You may terminate your account at any time by contacting us. Upon termination, your right to use the Service ceases immediately.

14. Governing Law and Dispute Resolution

These Terms are governed by the laws of India. Any dispute arising from or relating to these Terms or the Service shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts located in India. You agree to submit to the personal jurisdiction of such courts.
