About The Praxels

I build simple, helpful tools
to make everyday digital
tasks easier.

If something I built made your life a little smoother — that's the whole point.

Hi, I'm Lalit Gautam — a software engineer based in Hyderabad, India.

I've spent 8 years building software, currently as an SDE-2 at Amazon, where I've worked on payments infrastructure, automated systems used by thousands of services globally, and developer productivity tooling.

How this started

The Praxels started as a simple idea: whenever I run into a problem in my daily digital life and can't find a tool that solves it cleanly — I build one. Then I share it.

No grand mission statement. No VC pitch. Just a solo engineer who enjoys building things that work.

Why "The Praxels"

Practical Pixels — shortened, merged, and made into something that felt more like a name than a description.

Practical, because everything here solves a real problem. Pixels, because it all lives on a screen.

What's here right now

The Craft Suite — a collection of tools for software engineers who want to go deeper on the fundamentals:

  • SystemCraft — system design
  • DSA Craft — coming soon
  • LLD Craft — coming soon

I built these because I wanted tools that actually matched how I think about these topics. Nothing else did exactly what I wanted.

What's coming

Whatever problem I run into next.

The Craft Suite won't be the only thing here. If I build something useful — for productivity, for developers, for anyone — it'll live under The Praxels.
